LATEST WORLD CUP NEWS... (posted 28th October 2003)
Last night the USA Eagles were victorious over Japan's Cherry Blossoms (it's still about that name!) down in Gosford 39-26. Mike Hercus, the Aussie raised flyhalf was undoubtedly the star of the show in the encounter that was very closely fought between the two teams. Read more here.

Tonight in Sydney Uruguay take on Georgia. Both of the teams have copped a hammering in the tournament to date, so one of them is going to be very pleased at the end of the night when they emerge with their first win of RWC 2003.

The Poms are being investigated for their bungle the other night against Samoa when they somehow found themselves with 16 players on the field. Well, I don't think any of us think that England did that intentionally, but that is a pretty poor incident - especially when it comes from the world's currently ranked number one team. If the Samoans or anyone else had done that when England was playing we'd be hearing the whining from their pompous assed supporters well into the millenium. Speaking of the Poms, the boys are staying right here on the Gold Coast at the present, and their supporters are setting up camp in town. Uh oh! If this site isn't updated again feel free to assume that the English supporters have tracked me down :) Then again, I could always go out to their training sessions and hold up a sign saying 'Cheaters!' - that could be fun!

Cheers!
